- Development of next-generation secondary battery system (Lithium, Sodium, Magnesium, Aluminum Ion Battery)
- Development of materials based on molecular machinery, magrocycles, and metal organic structures for the application of next-generation secondary batteries
- Analysis of changes in crystal structure and electrochemical behavior of next-generation secondary battery anode materials
- Development of ionic conductors and all-solid battery systems for all-solid batteries
- Development of a separating film with enhanced safety for lithium-ion secondary batteries

Lab Overview
Ewha Women's University's Next Generation Battery Material Research Institute studies areas related to the development of new materials to improve the performance of the next generation secondary battery system and the analysis of crystal structure and electrochemical behavior. Research in this lab is mainly focused on the development of positive materials and solid ion conductors that play a crucial role in improving the performance of next-generation secondary batteries. To this end, we have differentiated know-how in developing new materials and all-solid-cell systems based on stratigraphic oxides, Redox-Active Macrocycles, Metal-Organic Framework, and Molecular Machines, and a variety of international joint research experiences.
